The event will begin at 6:00pm for those who have not seen David Boyd's explosives presentation yet. This was also presented last year, and is being repeated for people that were not able to attend, and for new members. He will be presenting an overview of the Victorian Dangerous Goods (Explosives) regulations. This talk will focus on the key things you MUST know about the law, and how it affects you as a rocket motor user. If you have already seen this presentation, the rest of the evening will begin at 6:30pm. We have two more presentations lined up: RMIT will discuss the upcoming AURC competition. They will show their five sub-systems and how they plan to test/verify them to ensure safety and success. They'll also briefly talk about the progress the team has made thus far and their plans going forward. Melbourne Uni will be discussing recent research and testing on recovery, mainly insights from people in the skydiving industry.
